Hiroshi Draconis was born in Japan in 1964.
In 1987, he graduated from Aichi Institute of technology.
In 1996, After deciding on his first motif of Moses upon Mt. Sinai, he went Egypt to photograph the mountain himself. In 2006, his work, “Morning on Mt. Sinai,” was chosen in a contest held by the Salon Blanc Art Association.
From 1994 to 2012 he worked continuously with oil paints. He stayed in Nice, France for about 4 months from the winter of 2012 up until May, 2013. While there, he started painting with watercolors. He then travelled to Spain and stayed for roughly 3 months in the spring of 2014, and in March of 2016, he travelled to see the Celtic scenery of Penzance, Cornwall, England.
he opened my Exhibition at Ouchi Gallery of Brooklyn, NY in February of 2017.
His paintings are based on the seven colors of the rainbow, a theme he chose due to his love for pure and vivid colors. He will paint on the wall in Spain(Madrid ,Valencia),Penzance of England in 2019.
